The first decade of ethical trade has put ethical trade squarely on the corporate responsibility map. Yet the scale and pace of change being achieved is not sufficient, and the current global economic climate threatens to undermine progress. Now more than ever, it is critical that we come together to implement strategies that make a measurable difference to workers’ lives.
Join us at the ETI’s tenth anniversary conference on 23 October at the Novotel, Hammersmith to celebrate the achievements to date and shape the next decade of ethical trade. The conference promises to be an inspiring and challenging event.
Keynote speakers:
Ebrahim Patel - General Secretary of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers Union (SACTWU) and Deputy Chair of the ILO
Manuel Rodriguez - Senior vice president, government & international affairs and corporate responsibility officer of Chiquita Brands International, Inc.
